About
Why this site exists.
Assessment pathways are full of forms, acronyms and waiting, and most of the people in them have never been through one before. The information they need is spread across NHS pages, guidelines written for clinicians and charity websites. This site puts the practical parts in one place, in order, in plain English.
How it's written
Sources, dates, corrections.
Sources
Every guide lists where its information comes from: NHS pages, NICE guidelines, gov.uk and established charities. Where practice varies by area, the guide says so rather than pretending there is one answer.
Review dates
Each guide shows when it was last reviewed. Waiting times, referral routes and medication supply change; a page without a date is a page you can't trust.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, use the form below. Corrections are made within a few days and the review date is updated.
Who's behind it
The honest bit.
NeuroConsultation Hub is a concept site built by Jordan Brookes, who spent years inside an ADHD and autism assessment pathway turning referral documents into something a clinician could act on, and who now builds websites as Built by Brookes in Nottingham. It is not a clinic, it isn't affiliated with the NHS or any provider, and nobody pays to be mentioned here. It exists to show what good public information can look like, and to be useful while it does. The guide text was written from the published guidance listed on each page, not from clinical training; treat it as a well-organised starting point, not an authority.
